Want To See -

Halestorm

I saw Halestorm twice in two days last week, 3rd April in Sheffield (Where I live) and then the 4th in Manchester, they've been on my 'must see' list for a while now, and they were Amazing, far better than I expected, I hung round outside the stagedoor for an hour after both shows (and in the rain in sheffield!) and met I Lzzy in Sheffield, and the full band in Manchester.

Oh man... not sure i can remember... I've been to probably 30 Ramones shows, maybe more, opened for them twice (HUGE thrill), seen Suicide at least a dozen times, lots of other bands from back then too (CBGBs, the Palladium, Mudd Club, Peppermint Lounge). Saw plenty of dinosaur rock too -- Aerosmith, Queen, the Who, etc. Worked at a nightclub in NYC for a while, so that makes about 300 shows that year alone... although I got kind of burnt out by concerts after that.

Nowadays, I prefer watching no-name bands playing in little bars. Something about all that hard work for nothing,,, to me, that's rock n'roll.

very first: Metallica, Pantera and Monster Magnet, the most freaking awesome and crazy concert I've ever been to.. this was 1999.

last: Tool, Puscifer and Primus awesome concert too. I was in tears at some point of the Tool concert when a song made me remember a lost friend. :(

others: Black Sabbath, ACDC, Rammstein, Tony Levin, The Horrors, Deep Purple, King Crimson, Depeche Mode, Korn, Chris Cunnigham, Cypress Hill, Kap Bambino (this girl is fucking crazy!), Avenge Sevenfold, Megadeth, Bob Dylan, Apocalyptica many times, Placebo, Mars Volta, Smashing Pumpkins (the new lineup), Kiss, Motley Crue, others I can't remember so maybe they weren't as memorable.

Cheers!

Saw them 2012 in a little sweat box in yokohama. It was insane 499 girls and me in the audience ^^.

http://www.youtube.c...h?v=3kD236VqmHQ

Saw them 2011 in a small Club here in Hamburg. Still one of the best concerts of my life. If you can catch them life somewhere just go, dont think twice. IMO one of the best live bands in the world.

Oh WOW!!. I'll try to list them in order if I can. Metallica with Queensryche opening: And Justice for All tour. Aerosmith with G'n'R Opeing,, right when Appetite hit,, I wasn't there for Aerosmith. Def Leppard with Europe Opening. Pantera in some small little bar in Austin, TX right when Cowboys From Hell hit,, they were BLOWING UP at the time. Metallica, just Metallica. Metallica and G'n'R. Metallica with I don't remember who was opening,, the other 2 bands didn't fit that genre at all. Was kind of a weird show. Took a LONG break from concerts as raising kids got in the way. At my wife's BEGGING,,, Kenny Chesney with Lady Antebellum and Miranda Lambert opening.. ( Most disappointing show I've ever seen,, the headliner does ONE hour? Are you kidding? His song catalog is huge,, but nope 1 hour. ) Metallica ( It was the worst show I've seen them do, very early in the tour, but still, not sure I'll do them again ) Queensryche at some little casino, right before the Rocklahoma meltdown.   Have MANY bands that come through that I want to see but I have to fit them in my schedule and most of the time it just doesn't work. If we want to go back to the county fair days,, LMAO. My parents owned a tent company so I had VIP tickets to all of the shows. .38 Special,, and acck, puke New Kids On The Block !!!!! And many others I can't remember.   Oh shit, almost forgot Winger, Bullet Boys, Cindarella, and mmm I don't remember the fourth band at that show. AND HOLY SHIT HOW did I forget ? STEVE VAI !!!!!!!!

Too many to mention but I recently saw Monster Truck in Manchester due to being introduced to them by playing their track on Rocksmith. They're amazing live, nice chaps to talk too as well :) . Best gigs I've been to were seeing Red Hot Chillies, Queens of the Stone Age and Foo Fighters all on the same stage in Glasgow in about 2002. Great day :D

Ok, because of poor results and overall lack of skill @NoonyDeloony gets downgraded to Advanced. She would be forever remebered as shameful person... and then she'll make another charming video and we'll forget about that.

Saw the Misfits last night at a small (300 person) venue for a benefit to build a skate park.  Openers were Regret the Hour (great), Heart of the Matter (eh) and Tournament (pretty decent).

My hearing is almost back to normal.

I could rub it in a little more by telling you that I went to school with Chris Bowes and he once sent me a christmas card. It was a picture of a cat and it just said "I love cats".
