    They're much too expensive for that low quality, not only in Greece. I bought a 2nd one from Canada years ago, it was about 10€ cheaper than anywhere from Europe incl shipping.

    After a lot of RR i managed to get passed the Volbeat song SA without  too many X's, very proud as there is a lot of single notes, and I am shit on those.

    Fun/nice sounding songs this week.  

     

    I literally laughed out loud at Volbeat's song.  I almost never listen to /read the lyrics, but the chorus' reference to an Ancient One seemed really funny coming from a Nickelback-style rock band

    Master Class Bass 99.82% (I could very easily 100 this, but the song is soo long and boring to play haha)

    Of course it is since you're not play a bass, but 6:30 is not really long.

     

    On real bass it is boring as well :lol:

     

    I wouldn't say boring or long, bass or not, but it's definitely no fun to play for me :( I need to start filling the song selection list (you guys too)

    I went to Maplin and bought a generic guitar to USB lead (£21.99).  It's better than using the Mac's inbuilt mic, but I'm sure I could set it up a bit better.  The gain seems very high, and it's missing fast repeated notes:

    So I had a play around with my old Realtone cable, and it seems it was only broken at the USB to breakaway section, as I swapped this section from the one that is now really broken, and it seems to work quite well:

    Does anyone know how to test the Hercules card in the Realtone cable?  (With the two cables I've had, in three years, I've had to replace the jack ends on both, I've had one apparent breakage at the USB end, and I do believe I've now got a problem with the Hercules card on one...)
