    Finally worked! in wineconfig had to choose install dll. then installl d3dx9.dll that seemed to do it besides the patch from this site. it works thanks all

    I actually looked that that thread before I posted. I tried placing the DLL but it didnt do anything. tried the winetricks thing and it didnt work. the game works just no cdlc. so not a huge loss

    yup i got it running. it runs natively. have to adjust the .ini to get the cable to work. but I'm talking about how to patch it for CDLC. the game works just not the CDLC because idk how to patch it on linux

    is there a way to get the cdlc to work? i have a copy of my old DLL from the computer. I'm new to linux so not sure if running the .exe from the tutorial will work for linux. Thanks for any info
