  1. That is exactly what i was looking for! Thanks very much!
  2. Hi Guys Straight to the point. Rocksmith 2014 works fine, no problems, no lag, HDMI with TV or Onboard with monitor. My problem is that I've moved my PC to the den and have a new setup. I have a pair of okish Logitech USB speakers that I use for gaming and browsing. For Rocksmith, I have to use the onboard soundcard (VIA HD) and that runs to the line-in of a Logitech squeezebox (I have no other regular speakers but it is far superir in quality to the usb speakers Albeit mixed mode mono). My issue is this. Every time I want to play Rocksmith, I have to open the sound devices panel and chan ge the default sound card. I often forget and then as soon as i hear the USB speakers poping and crackling I ALT-F4 out and start over again. Is there a way to create a shortcut that will automatically change the default output device of windows 8 and launch Rocksmith and switch back when I close? I searched through the ini file but there doesn't seem to be a line for specifying the output device. I know there are plenty of options regarding shortcuts that can be made to switch audio devices from the desktop, or even keyboard shortcuts that could be assigned to such shortcuts/bat files however I'm looking for a more 'step free' solution. Any ideas would be much appreciated!!
  3. Just a thought, but the bonus arrangement for this song is in Open A for slide purposes. Do you think you might have selected thjis arrangement by accident??
  4. You could play along when you record to get rid of the 'missed' msgs. all you need to do go to the in game mixer and set guitar/bass volume to 0 so it doesnt come out on the recording. Might even highlight any niggles in your playing you need to work a little harder on too!
  5. Ableton live 9 for DAW, even though today its famous for dance hiphop and electro, it started out for rock, and still is the bomb! Especially now with multi monitor support. Coupled with the Session drums library, 90 gigs of drums recorded with zillions of mikes and velocities, it sounds so real. Quite easy to put together, and the result is so professional. Amplitube as my main VST plugin for Ableton and Guitar rig for some occasional things. Sibelius for notation and sheet music creation. Great for writing solo piano compositions or jazz arrangements for a whole band with or without a midi keyboard.
  6. Congrats, good luck and all the best. I know this may not be the thread for this, but I had a thought. I'm not a coder or designer in any way, but i don;t knkow if you have ever seen on the Skyrim modders forum nexus thing, thewy wrote a program that you download and log into their site with and it organises all your DLC and cDLC for the game and notifies you when a file has a newer version. I have no idea of what kind of work this entails, nor the uselfulness, but it might be worth thinking about, maybe some genius member who enjoys this might have a look. Some problems I can think of immediately, Hosting the files - What can be worked with. Updates not getting the feedback they deserve and need due to people just updating their list and not contributing constructively. of course the general problems with writing an application from scratch! Sorry to Hijack, I just really wanted to congratulate you with the new endeavour!
