  1. Could a button be added that would disable all the songs, then enable only the songs with a certain tuning? Right now, I disable everything (except ODLC), go into the arrangement anaylzer select only a certain tuning, go back to the song manager tab and enable the selected - I'd assume this would be fairly easily automatable? Could expand this to also include songs with or without a certain arrangement type.
  2. That wont fix the songs that have the incorrect tuning? That will just add a tuning I think the songs were originally created as 4 string tunings, with the last 2 strings defaulting to BE If I have 10 songs that have the CGCFBE and I want to update them to D Drop C, I have to go into each song file update then wait for the rescan, that takes forever!
  3. I want to be able to find all the D Drop C songs, but there are a number of them categorized under Other because they were created as CGCFBE, for example. I would like to change these all together, otherwise, every time I hit save it scans everything again!
  4. Related, what about name more tunings in CFSM so they don't come up in there as Other? Like the necessary Fixed Bass tunings, C# Drop B Fixed, for example.
  5. I'm all updated and it's doing it nearly every time I play, usually glitch with sound work for a little while longer, then glitch without sound
  6. I'm having non-song related crashed, i.e. Stock, DLC, CDLC doesn't matter I just got a new Dell G5 Reinstalled everything, started crashing - sometime it would glitch and start playing again, sometimes it glitches and starts playing again but no guitar input I repaired RS over steam. I ran CGT sync. Still crashing or glitching.
  7. I bought a new Dell G5 gaming computer and transferred all my files and ©DLC over and I seem to be have a different crash symptom than discussed in the pinned topic. Randomly, doesn't matter what song I'm in CDLC or DLC or stock, the game glitches* momentarily - sometimes it kills the guitar feed and sometimes it doesn't. But this happens, nearly every time I play after some interval. I usually play Nonstop play on whatever tuning I'm playing that day. On PC, I used steam to check my install and it updated some files - I reinstalled the .dll for the CDLC and still crashing randomly... Any thoughts? *The songs playing normally, skips kind of like a CD for 1-2 sec, then continues with or without audio from the guitar. With audio, I keep playing; without I restart the game.
  8. Does the Low Bass Tuning Fix actually work, or what am I doing wrong? I've repaired the file and clicked the Fix Low Bass Tuning and hit save on a couple of files. None of them work any better after. Specifically, I've tried Poem by Taproot multiple different ways, still doesn't read the low A on my 5 string.
  9. I just played Devil's Dance on bass, Jason played the whole song on the E string, but the CDLC had the whole song on the A string. I've noticed this on a couple other bass songs, one of which, I noticed was transcribed on guitar or maybe somehow was written in EoF or something on 6 strings and the compiler or whatever moved it down a string to the middle of a six string. Some similar examples and related examples: Awaken and Prayer by Disturbed Funky Monks by RHCP The Disturbed songs made me think of this as I checked out the CustomsForge Song Manager and saw the bass for those two songs was listed as DbAbDbGbDbGb and not just Eb Drop Db, like the guitars were. Hope I made some sense.
  10. Would it be possible to change the square notes into the actual notes? Or I'd say create an inlay that has the letter notes, maybe at least whole notes, but that changes with the tuning. Might help subconsciously learn the notes, mostly I can only *hear* a couple chords, like G, E, and maybe D, and A. Chords are displayed prominently. As for individual notes, I can probably tell an open A without thinking, other than that I don't think I have the aural vocabulary.
