  1. Happy Birthday RamboMadCow!

  2. It's a late reply as I don't come here too often, but my best piece of advice for the Justice Medley is to actually learn the songs in it first. I actually learned the entire Justice album before I knew about Binge and Purge, and then when I heard the medley, it was very easy to figure out where songs started and stopped. In short it would be: The beginning of Eye of the Beholder, the middle section of Blackened before the solo, the beginning-ish of Frayed Ends of Sanity, a giant huge part of Justice starting after the very long intro, and back into the pre verse riff into the first verse and chorus of Blackened. Edit: Great work @@Snake3169 Just be aware that even a lot of stuff in the books are wrong unfortunately. I've been playing in a Metallica tribute band for a year now, and when I need to figure out what they're really doing, I have to watch 10's of live videos of them playing. It's really the best way I think. There's the beginning riff of Leper that's written completely wrong in the current MoP released books. Orion isn't even completely correct either, along with the intro to Damage Inc. I can find spots in all of the official books that things are just wrong unfortunately. I guess it just depends on what your goals are. Perfectly accurate album tabs will require a lot of live investigation to get correct.

  4. I don't know how to gives rep, so I gave likes. That's an awesome website to figure out the scales given chord progressions. NOW I have something to work with. I know all of my mode shapes, just don't know the theory well enough to know how to figure out which major is applied to what chord progression. Thanks to both of you!
  5. They sound great! But...I have no idea where to get started lol. I know basic scale theory. Definitely don't know my chords. So I couldn't even begin to dive into this  And btw, I think you're missing the link for Rufus. Can't find it to listen to that one.
  6. Do you handle corrections from us or do you prefer to just leave it be and leave it up to us to figure out which parts of the tabs were wrong and right? Since you said you take the most popular tab you can find and convert, I've gone through a few of the songs and I know for a fact there's a section on Disposable Heroes that is "close" kind of, but it's not correct. Certainly not your fault, and all the work you've done is greatly appreciated. Was just curious what your thoughts were on corrections.
  7. This is amazing! I joined these forums specifically looking to see if I could find most of Metallica's stuff...and there's more than "most" here lol. Excellent work to you Sir. Quick question: What are you using for source material to convert these? Are you using some of the books or doing it all by ear or what? I'm new so I don't know any of the process that goes in to doing these.
