I would like to say that in music everything is ornamentation, grace notes, specially in solos are very important. Anyway if they must be added in EoF I have no problem with that. Consider my comment as a suggestion for future improvements for EoF. Thanks

Hi. I'm currently correcting some gp tabs and adding some slides, hammer ons, pull offs, that are grace notes. They doesn't "count" as notes when timing the bar, but they must be played. However, when I import them in EoF, these notes are nowhere to be seen. Is there something I'm missing? Does EoF import these? If so, I would like to know how.

That was it, I was looking in Eof->Tracks under "Rocksmith" (It wasn't there) and the tuning and number of strings are under the "pro guitar" submenu. I tried it and now it recognizes the notes, I will redo my customs and check all this, and maybe improve some mistakes here and there. Thanks!

Hi. I'm working in some customs, but I've find that some users have issues with the bass track. I always make the bass in eof in "Real part bass", and did nothing special to the track (obviusly I synced it). It's reallu strange, I do not have a "usable" bass right now and tried with virtual bass, one song It did work, but another one just gives me "late" "miss" even when I'm hitting it right. I really don't know what's going on, and I always add bass to my customs, I need to adress this issue and upload new versions of all my customs so bass players could use it. Any tips?

Thanks for the replies, I updated my EoF with last version and hotfix. Paying attention to the beat markers you were right, It moves them in all arrangements, I was making the mistake of moving individual beat markers (inside of a 4x4 beat) and not the complete bar, this worked on the bass but the guitars were far more complicated. I will start from scratch this time paying attention to full beats instead of individuals in the same beat. Thanks!

Hi, a bar is a musical term, in a 4x4 it's 4 quarter notes. What I move I EoF are not the notes, I move the beats or bars on the upper section, where it indicates the bpm, I move them to sync the bass and then select rythm and lead, but when I switch song->track from bass to rythm, the beats are not the same as in the bass and then I have to resync the rythm guitar and so forth. I have EoF 1.8, maybe the exe file is a bit outdated, I don't have the computer right here so I can't tell exactly which version I'm using. If It isn't normal then there must be something I'm doing wrong, when I import the tracks it asks If I want to keep the differents sections as phrases, maybe that's it, It imports different sections for each track and then EoF treats them separately, I will try importing this way and maybe update EoF. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi. I'm editing /syncing on EoF, all the tracks are in sync with each other in GP5. When I'm moving bars on one track this does not affect the others (bass/rythm, etc) Is there any way to sync all the tracks at one time, I mean, moving a bar moves it in all tracks and so the sync between instruments keeps while the song is right with tempo and claps. Thanks.

I renamed the tones with Artist-name_song-name_TONE in EoF and in toolkit, the tone change works and i think tge arrangement alphanumerical code is someway generated based on the actual name of the xml file and the tones used, if these are different then the alphanumeric code should be, otherwise I wouldn't have all the songs generated with toolkit appear on RS songlist. I still have to work with tones, thanks for the quick reply.

Hi. Thanks. I did name the DLC with Artist_Songname, and some as Name Sort. I also renamed the tones with Songname_, now the song is on the list, but I did not check if the other songs were there, I will check the arrangements, but if I gave them different tone names they should be different (I think). I will keep in minf this and post my results as long as I'm done with tone changes. This song has maybe 5 or 6 tones and I have my doubts wether the toolkit allows so many tones, I guess I will find out. I have to say that this particular song I did not know how to play it accurately, so I will post it so people who know (and can play this fast) can tell me if there are mistakes or notes not registering, I did my best on lead and rythm and It's registering the notes. I have to say that when a song is this fast and in solos, RS is a little permissive, due to logical reasons of hardware/software limitations, or it could be as simple as a palm muting registering twice when you hit only once, I really don't know, as I pointed out I do not know this song so well and got a 86% accuracy. Anyway, just thinking out loud. I will check that the other 3 songs keep appearing on the songlist and will keep giving different names to DLC for each song, as well as to the tones, but if so, I should give different names in EoF to the tones as well? Hi. I'm new in this forum, I really don't know If someone had this issue before. I've done 3 cdlc until now, and they are working on RS2014, the new one is the issue. I used the last beta toolkit and the 2.6 stable one for this one and tried several things. First time I thought It was an issue with the custom package so I changed from cherub rock to another one with no luck. I have the 4 tracks, bass, lead rythm and vocals. With all the tracks didn't work, I tried only rythm and guitar, no luck. Also tried making the difficulties with toolkit, neither one appeared on the lost. I have my new customs in a directory in dlc, but the other 3 appear on the list. It's not an issue of the artwork, If this goes wrong the toolkit creates a blank one (solved that one). Changed the file name if this was an issue, no luck either. This song (Altered State by Sepultura) has a long instrumental intro so I didn't add the 3 seconds, tried adding them and same story, didn't appear on songlist. The toolkit doesn't give any errors or warnings, EoF generates all the xml's and I divided the song in different phrases and such, but this didn't gave me problems with my 3 previous cdlc songs. I really don't know where to start or which information I can give you to determine the solution. Thanks.

What About some sepulura? I'm working with this song and I can't find the exact tone, I know sepultura used hot rodded JCM800, triaxis (mesa) preamp and 50+50 mesa PA to a 4x12 with V30, even andreas kisser used the "big muff" as a booster for solos, I can't find an exact tone for this song, I'm really annoyed becuase I can't listen to the track while I'm touching the tone, maybe some external mixer can help here, mix the sound from the PC with the original track, I don't know... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXWrmXPE_h8
