  1. Hi all, With the current lock-down, I've started to spend a lot more time on Rocksmith again. I've downloaded a ton of CDLC and generally having quite a bit of fun. I downloaded the DLC manager and had a bit of a play about and discovered a couple of things that i'm not sure has been covered? Some of the songs don't seem to want to select when you want to change them from enabled/disabled, i've found that by opening the song location you can just edit the file name to add or remove the *_p.disabled.psarc. The second thing is, if you have RS running, you don't need to close it all the way down if you've edited/added/removed DLC. If I quit the game it goes back to the 'Rocksmith' splash screen with 'enter to begin', I just press enter and select my profile and all the changes are made. Sorry if it's old news to most people, but I hadn't come accross it before. Take care everyone.
  2. Hi All, I've been using some of the practice CDLC's that have been put up and would like to try and create some of my own; preferably with a click track or backing beat. Is there a tutorial for this already up, or could someone guide me how to do it? Thanks
  3. Hate the games in the 2014 version; get it wrong and 'game over'! much prefer the timed games in RS. However, I've found the 'lessons' in both very useful for warm up and improving general skill. although I do need to practice alot more outside of the game.
  4. So I've been playing RS for a while now and just upgraded to 2014 as it was on sale. I'm really not bonding with it! Firstly, there is the Uplay login, I believe I have to log in / register to be able to enter the game code but there are problems with this as far as servers and passwords etc? Secondly, I like to warm up on some of the guitarcade games. the games in 2014 take so long and are so slow...it's awful! Thirdly, the speakers at the side of the screen... Why? I can hear I'm playing, they just take screen space and reduce the size available for the note conveyor! Lastly, for the moment, I really like the 'journey' mode in rs; rehearse the tunes it gives you and perform a gig, it gives me a variety of music I might not otherwise choose. Is this format available in 2014, I presume it's in continuous play? Yes, I've only just started it, but on the whole I think the game makes more negative changes than positive for my novice level. Does anyone suggest how I can enjoy it a little more?
  5. Thanks for that, as I said I'm using RS12, and I'm happy to chart my own notes but just need some pointers on how to do that and then get the notes to show up with a click track backing
  6. Hi all, I'm using RS12 and want to create some basic practice rhythm riffs over a click track to play along to. I've had a look through the tutorials, but they all seem to be focused on converting an existing song. Could someone point me in the right direction as a start point please? Thanks
