  2. Hi Thunder9, > almost sure it would be a PC not Mac You will find more tools and support on the PC side of the force. The PC & other hardware is cheaper too, of course, it's your money: buy the hardware that you want to use. >but if I did choose a Mac I'd have a lot of work ahead, I'd have to re download all my CDLC's "Yes" it is not impossible to convert files to apple format, but it might take some time. Link to the guide here: http://customsforge.com/topic/33889-how-to-add-custom-songs-on-mac/ >and purchased songs, right ? Yes. I Googled for the DLC compatibility, but i got some mixed results. I suggest that first you make sure that you can use your PC DLC with apple first, so you don't have to buy the same music twice. >When i log in and download the game if I chose Mac would steam where i purchased RS and RS 2014, download the correct version or would I have to buy the Mac version? Good question, i have never installed the apple version, so i can't advice you with this. You should check this too, with the steam support.
  3. Hi Thunder9, 1. Make a backup of your CDLD. 2. Login to the steam from new pc. Install the game. Guide: http://customsforge.com/topic/901-how-to-use-custom-dlcs-in-rs2014/ 4. Copy CDLC back 5. Verify your settings. Guide: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/802854-Rocksmith-2014-PC-Configuration-and-FAQ-Forums Now you should be all set. Bonus: Check out Roadie, its pretty awesome: http://customsforge.com/topic/20212-tool-the-rs-roadie-song-selection-list-modification-and-setlist-manager/
  4. Hi @@earth2mars, This is a nice one, Name Maison Ikkoku - Ashita Hareru Ka Video Tabs: https://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/k/kuwata_keisuke/ashita_hareru_kana_crd.htm Lyrics http://www.animelyrics.com/anime/maisonikkoku/ashitahareruka.htm Instrumental Chords https://www.songsterr.com/a/wsa/kuwata-keisuke-ashita-hareru-kana-chords-s210754 Guitar Cover: Unfortunately, I was unable to find any GP5 / PTG files for this. If this isn't something you don't like or have time, then that's fine, no stress. Keep up the good work!
  5. @@firekorn Good point, I did not realize this before. Site whitelisted. Keep up the good work.
  6. Hi DMJC, Very nice idea. Good luck with your project, it would be intresting to see community building something similar to Rocksmith, but with improvements. (Ultra Star / Rocksmith fusion with keyboard and drum support would be awesome) Here are some sites that might be of intrest to you: http://www.laboratoryspokane.com/openchord/ http://www.indiedb.com/games/phase-shift/videos
  7. Development is a good thing, I am not bashing Ignition as it still is a work in progress. Some suggestions: Give the user the option to change the GUI to older search - the current version of the Ignition "feels" similar to the new m$ windows style, this is not a good thing... Give the user the option to change the colors similar to the old search - the old search is easier to read, sometimes less is more Here is some discussion on this subject: http://ux.stackexchange.com/questions/52833/which-color-scheme-to-choose-for-applications-that-require-long-work-hours Give the user the option to change the Font to the one used in the old search - the old search screen feels "crispy", in contrast, the font that Ingintion uses, looks bloated. Give the user the option to activate the lines between cells. - the old search, with visible cell borders, makes it clear, much more easier for the eyes, more comfortable to use.
  8. Finnish translator here. Let me know if you need assistance.
  9. Hi raveyman, Sorry if this is off topic, but: Before you get yourself a next gen console, I would suggest that you read this review about the Rocksmith 2014 issues with Ps4/Xbox one: http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/11/13/rocksmith-2014-ps4xbox-one-review TL;DR >The fact that the audio latency can be minimised but not completely eradicated is a shame and makes the current-gen game the least appealing version over all PC version of Rocksmith 2014: - No jailbreaking required - Best CDLC availability - Faster (i am running on obsolete pc :-) - When game starts to feel slow (when you add a lot of songs) it is easy to upgrade your hardware. I bought Rocksmith ps3 and pc versions; ps3 is playable, but feels so slow, and there is not much that you can do about it. - Less lag issues http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/719817-A-guide-to-achieving-low-latency-in-Rocksmith-on-PC-Forums just my 2 cents
