  1. Thanks again for your great work raynebc (in general - all of it until now), I've moved away from Rocksmith some months ago and use EOF now as a transcription program because I've gotten so used to it. I'm guessing there are probably better, more suited apps for song transcription out there but I love EOF and I appreciate the work you do for it very much. For some time, I'm not sure if this was a common problem, I had issues with keyboard shortcuts (the software behaved as though the ctrl (+shift and more keys) was always pressed down, and when I actually pressed it EOF registered it as not pressing it) but luckily it seems to be fixed now after downloading one of the newer revisions. Regardless of whether this is the direct result of you doing bug-fixes and general improvements or not, I want to thank you for continuing to do these updates anyway
  2. Is it possible to define two different fingerings for the same chord? Last time I tried that the different fingerings were preserved in eof itself but when playing the song in Rocksmith it showed only one fingering whenever the chord in question came up
  3. Yeah that seems to be the issue for me, I was making a seperate project for the album version that I've manually resynced but I have to copy all the dynamic difficulties and make phrases and sections again for the multitrack project. Am I doing this wrong? Is there a better way to solve this?I want to add that using the album version was important for me because the gh/rb multitracks usually aren't very good in audio quality, have unusual volume levels sometimes (for instance an instrument overshadowing the others when it's not supposed to) and more extras like these intro-drumstick-hits. Most of these multitracks seem altered at least very slighty imo. Also, how do I prevent Rocksmith from only accepting either the album version cdlc or multitrack cdlc? I'm pretty sure naming them differently doesn't solve anything, I didn't do any elaborate tests but I know this from experience when trying to get cdlc and corresponding backing track cdlc to work (to make them both show up in the Rocksmith song list at the same time). Is this more of a question that I'd have to ask the toolkit devs?
  4. I have a song that I have a backing track for and I plan adding it in an update. For some reason adding BT to this particular song isn't as simple as switching out the .ogg files from album version with multitrack one so I couldn't do it straight away, but yeah backing track cdlcs could be really cool. Also I used Frack's links for that and I wouldn't have discovered this glorious multi-track collection without his thread on smithy
  5. fabianosan asked in another thread (http://customsforge.com/topic/2533-unpacked-xml-missing-count-attribute-unable-to-import-in-eof/?do=findComment&comment=13642) if you could provide the original XML files before they were packed into a custom with the toolkit? Sorry I'm responding so late, the arrangements are from other users' cdlc so I don't have the original xml or project files. I will ask BHMath later if he's willing to provide the pre-toolkit xml files from his Muse songI myself have unpacked that cldc with the - as of now - lastest stable toolkit release, just adding this info in case it's important
  6. What about http://www.rscustom.net/dlc/ ?
  7. lol Shiroo, love that new avatar!

    1. Shiroo

      Shiroo

Thought people from Muse project might like it :D Thanks !

  8. I think that function is only for rock band/guitar hero or other eof-associated rhythm game midi templates, but ask raynebc yourself in this thread: http://customsforge.com/topic/1529-latest-eof-releases-r1304/page-5?do=findComment&comment=13596 (or reach out to him any other way) I'm sure he won't mind that question, he never seems annoyed by repeatedly asked questions as well which is really nice of him
  9. What did she mean by come back? I mean customsforge is a new site, so essentially she wouldn't be "coming back" if she registered here...Oh and I wanted to let everyone know I did a playthrough of Kiscsak's TSP CDLC:http://youtu.be/T5P5GL9JaX4My playing is pretty sloppy as always, but I love this song so I just had to do it
  10. Thanks, I'll check this out. I've had this happen to me too recently. Just wanted to confirm this.Thank you for your great work as always
  11. Thanks raynebc! You were right I for some reason had the "ignore capo/tuning" option checked so after unchecking it the chord names changed. I never looked for/noticed it, but I got the "C=" thingy at the beginning of the song as well so I know for sure it works now However, the midi tones still stay the same... I don't really need it but wanted to point it out anyway Here is a zip of some arrangements that I can't import as of eof r1299: http://www.sendspace.com/file/o4gtqd In eof it says "Failure. Check log for details" And in the log it's always that tuning value error
  12. Hey rayne, is there some sort of guide or manual for utilizing the capo feature yet? I'm kinda confused as to how I'm supposed to author capo arrangements mainly because the chord names and midi tones stay the same, regardless of whether I put a value other than 0 into the "set capo" field.. I'm also getting errors recently trying to import unpacked cdlc arrangements (the log says: "error reading tuning values from XML. Aborting"
  13. It may not be what you're looking for but I want to throw it out anyway, just so you have an even larger range of suggestions to choose from: Muse - Unintended is an easy acoustic and it's somewhat of a love song. It has easy handshapes except for that one b7 chord and is very slow, the intro is probably the hardest part of the song. I have the impression only younger people like Muse, so if they ain't too young they probably don't like the music genre or band anyway. Here is a cdlc of it for Rocksmith 2014 http://www.rscustom.net/dlc/11713 Other than that this was more of a general easy-acoustic-song recommendation, I'm not exactly a girl expert, I just assumed it may be a good candidate
  14. Yeah, perfect suggestion IMO. I think I like the first option most
  15. Thank you very much Shiroo, you're really doing awesome work and I really appreciate that you take so much of your time keeping this list clean and tidy along with working on your own Muse customs! Keep up the great work, I really think you deserve a lot of praise seeing as you're holding this whole Muse collaborative project together which probably ain't easy, so thank you very very much for that! I also want to thank every other Muse contributor, you guys are awesome and I love each and everyone of your custom songs By the way, wanted to say I'm a bit inactive lately regarding rs so I definitely won't give feedback to songs for the time being, and can you remove my nameplate in the original post? I'm just thinking it won't be necessary as I don't plan to work on any Muse customs soon, and obviously smbh is official dlc now.
