In Topic: Need tips for my hand (restarted playing)

I am also a rock climber and have been really impressed with a product called "climb on".  It is a balm that you put on blisters/road rash/tore up skin and it heals in about 12 hours....  you can find it at most climbing stores or on amazon....

In Topic: Favorite Brand and model of Guitar?

I’ve been a Fender player forever. Just bought a PRS custom 24 core guitar and it is hands down better than any other guitar ai’ve picked up! Fretboard is like a dream and tones are sick!

In Topic: USB Foot controller for Rocksmith suggestions

18 February 2018 - 03:50 PM

Everyone has there own views on gear....

I looked into doing this, but instead bought and ABY switch to be able to play thru my own amp with the game still recognizing what Im playing and the backtrack still coming thru the TV....

As a result, ive gotten better at changing my tone on my own I thru my amp while getting better at playing...

If you have your own amp, I highly recommend it!!!

In Topic: What would be a good portable speaker for Rocksmith

18 February 2018 - 03:43 PM

This is what I use for a portable light weight amp that I can throw in my gig bag... with or without Rocksmith... it sounds great, is inexpensive, runs on a 9v or power, and has a headphone jack if you need to be more discrete (ie in a hotel)...

In Topic: Wired vs Wireless setup?

I have the Xwire system and it is amazing!  I hate supercoiled cords  - from rock climbing, to hoses, to Guitar cords.  The $140 for the xwire receivers was worth every penny!!!!
