  1. Oh, the .ogg file? Gotcha. And also, what you suggested worked. I rebuilt the file in Wwave, and just played it through. The lyrics are a bit wonky but thats my fault for not understanding how tabbing them out works. I really appreciate your help raynebc. Thank you!
  2. By "rocksmith wav" do you mean the preview wave generated by EoF? I ask because i had to convert the source mp3 to .wav because Wwise doesnt allow mp3 imports for some reason.
  3. just tried re-packing it, setting the delay in f9 to zero in EoF (thats song properties because it was set to about the same amount of time that the delay was, 3400ms) and only using the bass arrangement (not the vocals). No change.
  4. Okay so, trying to tab out my first CDLC. Few things to start with (when i use the word "correct" I am going by the numerous tutorials on this forum): The arrangement is for bass I have the correct difficulty selected, The correct track (PART REAL_BASS) selected The correct arrangement type selected (Bass) It is imported from guitar pro, and syncs up perfectly using claps in EoF The lyrics i added in sync up just fine too. I'm using the latest EOF, Wwave, RSCustomKit and UltraStar Creator for lyrics. The song compiles just fine in RSCustom, and loads fine into Rocksmith 2014. However, when i get to playing the song, the notes on the noteway are offset by one bar (they show up one measure after they are supposed to, but are otherwise accurate). Also, the lyrics don't show up. Another thing to note: when I'm saving in EoF i get several error dialogs popping up: "One or more problems with defined fret hand positions were found. Cancels ave and review them now?" - I click NO for this "Warning: At least one slide note doesn't define its ending position. Unless you define this information they will export as 1 fret slides. Cancel save?" Again, i default to "No" because i dont know how to fix that, and i dont see how it would affect the start of the song "Write pitchless lyrics as playable freestyle" I dont know what this is so i usually click "No" "Warning: There is no END Phrase, but the beat maker after the last note in "PART REAL_BASS" Already has a phrase. You should move that phrase because only one phrase per beat is exported" No option here other than to click OK. It's kinda doing my head in after figuring out a lot of other stuff, and its a small thing that ruins the entire song. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  5. Also, it is not clear how, exactly, you got "two wave files" to import to wwise. The end of the eof section you mention an mp3, but dont reference it later. Wwise does not allow mp3 imports, so i think you skipped a step there. Would you mind clarifying this, as it is currently a roadblock to me. Thanks. Edit: you also mentioned: "change the sample frames to 16384" Is there any significance of this number? Why this number specifically? Thanks again. edit2: Where does the arrangement XML file come from? eof outputs an .eof file, and rscustom wants an .xml file for arrangements. This was not explained. **I figured this out - Need to go to file ->preferences in EoF and tick "save seperate Rocksmith 2 files". It will then output an XML for each Arrangement you set up.
  6. Given that you have a whole bunch of RHCP, would it be possible for you to do californication (the song) or scar tissue? There was a pretty good version of californication floating around on the old site, but the bass notes for it were entirely wrong in one particular section, and you do some great work. If not, I understand entirely, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Either way, thanks again for the great songs.
  7. Really looking forward to some quality NIN songs on bass. You and shinyditto are probably my two preferred CLDC contributors. Thanks for the hard work.
  8. Smooth criminal bass was very nice and smooth (pardon the pun). Nicely done.
