  1. I posted on Steam that a band I know by hart is Madrugada. Who have excellent songs to play too. Their front-man Sivert Høyem, has a solo career which is just the same for me. I checked here on CF too and was surprised not to find any songs of them. So I suggested them to Ubisoft. If you don't know them yet I suggest you check them out! Songs I picked were: The Frontman; Vocal; Beautyproof; Sirens; A Deadend Mind; Only When You're Gone (Live@Tralfamadore); Hands Up I Love You; Step In This Room And Dance For Me. All from the band Madrugada. That last song is actually one of the first songs I learned how to play. Sivert Høyem's songs are equally beautiful. The ones I suggested are: Northwind; Into The Sea; Belorado; The Light That Falls Among The trees; Moon Landing; My Thieving Hart (feat. Marie Munroe); (or any other); Exiles. Just a musical share. Blues rock if you want to label it, but really just a gem on it's own. The first three albums (incl. B-side albums) Industrial Silence, The Nightly Disease and Grit I learned how to play guitar from. Plus I really like to listen to those albums. Sivert Høyem produced seven more albums with so much beautiful songs. Check out Black Mambo; Highway 200000 or Animal Child (Sivert) too for example. I tried to do a request here, but nothing happened/loaded after I clicked the confirm button. Anyway, maybe you'll like 'm too. Take care,
  2. I had the same problem with that lesson, had to strum for five minutes or so (felt like ages!) in all different manners just to pass at some odd point. Luckily - otherwise I probably would not have an computer right now ;) Only play Rocksmith for a wee 3 months now. But I play guitar for some ten years! So, you can imagine which way my guitar almost was swinging... But luckily also that was the only point RS gave any of those problems. Not on that scale anyway. As I hope you found out for yourself now as well. I was thinking that it maybe was because of my tremolo bridge. Even tough I have it fixed with some extra , coils (?).. Anyhow, for future peoples..
  3. I have ESET smart security here and it is supposed to be good. Kapsersky just as well. But anyhow, I had no popups. I installed by "opening file" upon downloading, so I couldn't/don't want to find the install file to scan it for you, just so I could be 110% sure saying it was clean ;) But my computer hasn't been hijacked yet it seems so, I guess it should be alright. But if you haven't downloaded and installed it yet - been over 24 hours since your post. I would say that maybe next time you get an pop up from your antivirus you maybe can download the file and scan it thoroughly with your virusscanner - usually right mouseclick on an file. Before executing it. Even if it's just to ease your mind. So no, no virus/Trojan warnings here. Greets.
  4. I just wanted to add that I installed the BETA as well. It installed fine (Win7). And I can scroll between the tabs without errors. - I did get an database error in the stable version on the setlist-manager tab, after enabling the RS1 checkbox in settings. I noticed as well I got to see all the RS1 DLC you can buy. Which, for a moment, made me happy and nervous at the same time. ;) Nervous because I have the steam version and I wouldn't want to be banned, if possible. But a quick check by starting the game learned that I did not miraculously got all the RS1 DLC without buying. Just the +\- 50 songs from RS1 (ok, and the Allman brothers a Lynyrd Skynyrd :v:). After which I strolled through the tabs, ending at settings. And noticed, that - now with this fresh BETA install - the "include RS1 compatibility pack" checkbox was not even checked! Checked it. And ctrl + complete scan. Still get all the buyable (not by me) RS1 DLC. But as I understand the song manager is just reading an index file of some sort witch simply includes this whole list. Because tough they're enabled, they don't seem to mess up anything as they don't appear in my game. Anyhow, no need for me to worry. I just do without the RS1. Uncheck box. No songs I don't want to play there so. I was initially just curious as well why my RS1 songs didn't pop up at first. Excuse me for bringing up an old topic. Greets. PS What's up with these smilies? I was looking for an oldschool rock and roll one but all I see is a sad kitty and horrible smooth ones. Am I getting old?
