  1. sweet, thanks. That worked. At some point soon I'm going to have to upgrade to Catalina. I'll be able to help test compatability at that point if you still need it.
  2. I'm getting the same problem on the Wine build on OS X 10.14.6 Mojave. At this point I can't get it to launch at all, it is stuck in an infinite install loop. I have screenshots, but there doesn't seem to be a way to attach them to posts anymore? Basically I get the clean install modal: "CustomsForge Song Manager - Latest Build (v1.5.6.3) is currently installed. The uninstaller must be run as Administrator to help prevent antivirus false positives. Do you want to perform a clean installation?" If I click yes: "Are you sure you want to completely remove CustomsForge Song Manager - Latest Build and all of it's components?" Click yes"CustomsForge Song Manager - Latest Build was successfully removed from your computer." OKSelect install location window: use default "C:\Program Files (x86)\CustomsForgeSongManager" NEXTSelect Start Menu Folder, use default "CustomsForge Song Manager". NEXTSelect additional tasks, all unchecked. NEXTReady to Install: INSTALL"Completed installing CustomsForge Song Manager Setup" Default Launch checked. FINISHRestarts and goes back to the "Do you want to perform a clean installation?" windowIf I click no: Select additional tasks, all unchecked. NEXTReady to Install: INSTALL"Completed installing CustomsForge Song Manager Setup" Default Launch checked. FINISHRestarts and goes back to the "Do you want to perform a clean installation?" window I'm going to try reinstalling the entire Rocksmith Tools dmg next.
  3. Glad to hear it, thanks. I can understand your perspective - it's a hassle. Given the malware / virus / botnet epidemic, I also consider anything that helps to protect users to be a good thing. :) At this point it's just a build tool integration issue - minimizing the overhead for developers. Then again, I should admit that I'm biased because it is completely automated for me (at work at least).
  4. OS: Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 Chrome Version: 46.0.2490.80 If I use the download link at http://ignition.customsforge.com/cfsm/downloads, Chrome reports an error in the downloads footer: "setup.exe may harm your browsing experience, so Chrome has blocked it." If I use the download link embedded in the releast post on the customsforge forums (http://customsforge.com/topic/24024-customsforgesongmanager-11-released/), I get the same error - but interestingly a different filename. "CFSMSetup.exe may harm your browsing experience, so Chrome has blocked it." I've scanned this with a couple malware/antivirus apps, but neither found anything specific. Here is the associated chrome help link: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/6261569?p=ib_download_blocked&hl=en&rd=1
  5. I experienced the same problem on Windows 7. The logs print an error message for every file, stating that the target file already exists. The app seems to be creating an empty directory with the same name as the target filename. Since the directory is created first, the copies all fail. Since I tried different variants of the rename format, my dlc tree is now cluttered with thousands of empty directories. Easy to script the cleanup, but very annoying. Another odd bug here is that unless you open the log window first, the progress bar jumps to 100% green very quickly, while in reality the renaming process is still running in the background. Unless you open the log window, the app gives no indication that an error has occurred. Here's an example directory listing (note, this is a windows machine, I just used cygwin to list the contents as it's easier and provides more data). OS: Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 .NET Framework version: 4.5.2 CFSM version: 1.1.0.0 $ pwd/cygdrive/d/Steam/steamapps/common/Rocksmith2014/dlc $ ls -la Pearl\ Jam/total 37616drwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 0 Nov 7 14:06 .drwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 0 Nov 8 14:48 ..drwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 0 Nov 7 14:01 Alone_Lost Dogs_E Standard_NA__DD_p.psarcdrwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 0 Nov 7 14:06 Alone_LostDogs_EStandard_NA__DD_p.psarc-rwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 3947834 Mar 8 2015 AloneLostDogsNAEStandard_DD_p.psarcdrwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 0 Nov 7 14:01 Animal_Vs._E Standard_NA__DD_p.psarcdrwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 0 Nov 7 14:06 Animal_Vs._EStandard_NA__DD_p.psarc-rwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 3704629 Dec 6 2014 AnimalVs.NAEStandard_DD_p.psarcdrwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 0 Nov 7 14:01 Better Man_Vitalogy_E Standard_NA__DD_p.psarcdrwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 0 Nov 7 14:06 BetterMan_Vitalogy_EStandard_NA__DD_p.psarc-rwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 5469092 Mar 8 2015 BetterManVitalogyNAEStandard_DD_p.psarcdrwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 0 Nov 7 14:01 Daughter_Vs._E Standard_NA__p.psarcdrwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 0 Nov 7 14:06 Daughter_Vs._EStandard_NA__p.psarc-rwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 4891849 Jul 11 12:02 DaughterVs.NAEStandard_p.psarcdrwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 0 Nov 7 14:01 Dissident_Vs._E Standard_NA__DD_p.psarcdrwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 0 Nov 7 14:06 Dissident_Vs._EStandard_NA__DD_p.psarc-rwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 3940771 Dec 6 2014 DissidentVs.NAEStandard_DD_p.psarcdrwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 0 Nov 7 14:01 Even Flow_Ten_E Standard_NA__DD_p.psarcdrwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 0 Nov 7 14:06 EvenFlow_Ten_EStandard_NA__DD_p.psarc-rwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 11156956 Jul 11 12:02 EvenFlowTenNAEStandard_DD_p.psarcdrwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 0 Nov 7 14:01 Yellow Ledbetter_Rearviewmirror (greatest hits 1991-2003) (Disc 2)_E Standard_NA__p.psarcdrwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 0 Nov 7 14:06 YellowLedbetter_Rearviewmirror(greatesthits1991-2003)(Disc2)_EStandard_NA__p.psarc-rwxrwx---+ 1 bob None 5041503 Jul 11 12:02 YellowLedbetterRearviewmirror(greatesthits1991-2003)(Disc2)NAEStandard_p.psarc
  6. I keep a ton of DLCs around in separate directory structure, and only move them in to the dlc directory at some point later when I decide I want them installed. The setlist manager functionality supports this use case in some ways, but I would actually prefer to keep the bulk of cdlcs outside of the song manager. The song manager UI is great, but it's too time consuming to manage setlists and enable/disable flags for over a thousand songs. It would be incredibly helpful if I could designate an 'offline' directory in the song manager, where I could keep songs that are not currently in use. The CFSM could have a separate tab that scans this directory only when requested and provides a simple mechanism to bulk move songs between offline and online. There is value in treating this different than a standard setlist: It gives users a convenient place to dump downloaded cdlcs for future use. The offline directory wouldn't be scanned by default or clutter the results lists. Bulk operations like renaming can be selectively applied to offline or standard cdlc directories.
  7. A lot of CDLCs, particularly older ones, are missing metadata fields or have incorrect values. It would be great if we could just double-click to edit metadata in the song manager. My biggest pet peeve here is tuning info entered as 'custom tuning', when in fact the song uses one of the enumerated standard tunings. Another example is naming consistency (e.g. 'AC DC' vs. 'AC/DC') This next bit is just a nice to have if inline edits are supported, but it would still be useful for bulk actions. Consider options for the "'The' mover" to act as a "'The' remover" or "Make 'The' usage consistent". The latter is the most useful, but is slightly tricky (Find artist names that match with the exception of 'the', and make them all use the same format. You would probably want to show a preview so the user can confirm correctness before making the change.)
