And - i cannot forget to thank or man @@fripponomic - who has contributed 2 songs again - a real real well made custom from the Toten Hosen s xmas album, and a completely homerecorded version done together with his son of an old austrian xmas song "Haidschibumbeitschi" - in original it´s a very very sad, and slow song, fripples has wiped away the depressing moods here - so nice.

Great selection. Specially the Advanced one - This song is really good for your Rhythm chops and as well for the rock/blues cliche licks. Congrats.

I had this song in my collection already, only had played it once before now though. It hurts my hand, I need to focus on relaxing more. Ive been having a hard time keeping my hands relaxed since I fell off that roof and it's starting to be really annoying.

I put a lot of effort in that selection.

I'm happy everyone gets a real challenge and not just silly easy playalongs.

 

The path i obviously couldn't validate is the GoG lead path... a lil too hard ;)

I ended up with a 60 or something.

 

But the bass there is fine so i suppose all is good.

First plays this week although I think "Father Christmas" was played last year, but I couldn't play it back then

 

 

 

 

Thought I'd try SA advanced as the melody is rather simple...

 

 

2nd attempt was much better!

 

This one is too much for my skill but I can probably get 95% with practice

Easy!

 

 

The Int song is much harder, I even got better scores on Advanced

 

 

 

Had to try MC and GOG as well

 

 

Ok, finally I got my first 100% on a championship song, I'm so happy:

Sloppy, but 100 %. This is a real finger stretcher on those 1-4 patterns! Torture, but it's probably good for me.

And fingerstyle. Going to try and bump that to 100 %. This is a good practice song for me. It's slow enough for me to not confuse the strings all the time and I don't have to worry about my fretting hand. Can concentrate mostly on just strumming (or fingering?). Although, my technique is so unrelaxed.

@@meelo I know you're better than me but please don't disregard this advise because of that. Focus on relaxing your hands and body while playing, if you play while tense you will cause a repetitive stress injury over time. I gave myself mild carpal tunnel while playing TF2 competitively a few years back, it was not fun having my hands go numb randomly. Relaxing will also help your speed and accuracy. This is honestly good advise for anyone playing an instrument or playing a competitive video game and you probably already know it but I don't want to see anyone getting hurt. If you find you can't get relaxed while playing, I would say pause the song and take 10 deep breaths, in the nose and slowly out the mouth, using your diaphragm. It's almost guaranteed to make you relax if you breath out slower than you breath in.

I doubt that I'd have the time to play this week, maybe

so here are some scores from testing session

 

and as things turned out testing all paths was really necessary. In bass path first there was a row of 4 notes one fret too low. After testing again every note was C, very easy to play  :lol: but no way

of course I've tested the Haidschibumbaidschi as well, but no screenies
