Well i've just had my Def Leppard Animal playthrough video banned worldwide for breach of copyright.

Don't seem to see any other Rocksmith video of it banned.

getting really sick of YouTube as it's not like i'm making any profit for posting videos

I think if the copyright owner does not allow that the music is in a educational video I won't complain - it's has been more strict in the past when they added copyright strikes to your account (I'm not 100% sure if this has changed from strike to blocked worldwide or if there are some artists where you receive a copyright strike and after the 3rd your account is shut down).

A system where you don't earn any money and it's monetarized by the copyright holder is fair imho (when posting for educational purpose and fair use).

Otherwise the argument is weak that it should no been banned worldwide if you're not be paid for it or others are not banned. If you would provide a link to copyrighted material for free it is a copyright infringement - ofc it makes a difference if you are paid for it or not - the difference might be the fine if it goes to court.

I don't know if it makes a difference - which category did you select? Educational?
