Arpeggio and extra note

Hi,

 

  I have the same arpeggio with three finger positions along 4 measures, but at the second measure there is an extra note which doesn't belong to the chord.

  This extra note can be played with the fourth finger without release the chord.

 

  Is there a way to mark this arpeggio in EOF ?

  Something like an arpeggio and a crazy note ?

Just make the arpeggio as you would usually do, the chord shape will stay the same and the extra note will appear normally.

Yes, but EOF automatically adds the extra note in the starting chord of the arpeggio ...

Then change the starting chord by selecting it and clicking "n" and set the fret value of this chord to whatever you want.

I'm not sure I understand the suggested solution, EOF should be overriding the base chord for the arpeggio back to what it wants it to be.

When you create an arpeggio, the automatic starting chord is defined by the first note for each string he found in the section selected, if the chord create this way doesn't correspond to the actual chord shape the player should use because of the presence of another note not in the chord shape but that you should play while keeping the chord shape, then to show the correct chord shape, you just change the initial chord shape that was automatically define by EOF to what you really want it to be.

Oh, I see. As long as each string used within the arpeggio phrase has a fret value defined, EOF indeed won't care what it is.

This behaviour must be kept to permit these particular cases  ;)
